Not only is Mickey Drelxer the CEO of J. Crew and the person who actually made it “cool”, but he also holds  a spot on Apple’s board. Drexler is a miracle worker in the fashion industry and has had  unpresidented success with mass retail chains including the brands under the Gap Inc. umbrella.

I was lucky enough to hear Drexler speak in person while I was at school at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and it is one of my fondest academic and professional memories, as he is truly a legend and inspiration.
