Nature’s “Cool down” fruit

Well happy National Watermelon Day!   I’ve taken the liberty of dubbing it Nature’s Cool Down Fruit because it seems everyone reaches for it on a hot day ~ and today was no different.  Lots of kitchen construction still going on over here… lots of frustration, as the story always goes… lots of my husband shutting down the job and telling the electrician to go home because he doesn’t like the work he’s doing.  Anyway, it was at that moment that I said, hey let’s have some watermelon!  And we did, and it made us happy – and while the electrician wasn’t happy to be sent home early, we were happy to be cooling off with some deliciously sweet and cold watermelon.  The End.
