Knicks to workout former team member Tracy McGrady

Before Amare Stoudemire, before Carmelo Anthony, there was Tracy McGrady. In 2010 the Knicks traded for the one time superstar in order to make salary room to bring in the aforementioned players. Now both the Knicks and the Spurs will bring T-Mac in for workouts in the hopes of signing him. In 24 games with the Knicks, T-Mac averaged 9 points and 4 assist. If he could put up anything close to those numbers he could only help New York bench. Problem is, the Knicks are already one of the oldest teams in the league, and the 33 year old McGrady certainly wouldn’t help that. But maybe age is just a number, and we know T-Mac can put up numbers.
